It's not often that a brand new band has the opportunity to work with Daft Punk on a record. In comes Parcels, a five-member Australian group based in Berlin that was in the right place at the time when they encountered the iconic French duo at a show of theirs in Paris.

"In 2016 sometime, we played in a small Paris club, underground. Our first French show," Parcels exclusively tells Billboard. "We brought all of our energy to stage and the crowd matched it. The room became very warm, the crowd was grooving. Sometime during the set, little did we know, two robots entered. They liked it."

Fast forward to spring 2017, when the two acts met up at a secret location in Paris to create "Overnight," produced by and co-written with Daft Punk.

Parcels now joins an elite group of acts that have collaborated with Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel Homem Christo of Daft Punk, including Pharrell Williams, The Weeknd and Kanye West.
