Denver duo Breathe Carolina and Dropgun debut a summer-ready remake of the 1992 dance classic "Rhythm Is A Dancer" alongside Kaleena Zanders

Worlds unite as American electronic duo Breathe Carolina and Russian production outfit Dropgun debut their remake of 1992's classic dance anthem "Rhythm Is A Dancer."

Exclusively premiering the record and its accompanying visuals on Billboard Dance, the updated version -- dropping on Friday, May 12 via Spinnin' Records -- includes crisp, soaring vocals from rising songbird Kaleena Zanders (also featured on SNBRN's "California" remix) that melt into a wobble-laden trap-meets-house drop primed for extensive play this festival season.

Expressing their excitement about working on the summer-ready collaboration, Breathe Carolina says, "We heard the original smash on the radio on a drive one day and knew we had to flip it into a more modern club track." They added, "The vocal is so iconic and powerful that we knew only one person could nail it, and that is Kaleena Zanders. She came in and knocked it out with in an hour with no flaw and our good friends Dropgun really helped us take the production to an entirely new level!"

The official music video for the modernized rendition of "Rhythm Is A Dancer" sees a cast of professional dancers in relaxed yet stylish clothing crumping, spinning, break dancing and contorting through an abandoned warehouse because, well, that's how you move when you have that much room on the dancefloor. "Rhythm Is A Dancer" officially drops tomorrow (May 12) and will be available to stream on Spotify
