Each week, Billboard Dance looks at songs & albums rising on Billboard's dance charts.

Joe Goddard, Electric Lines

British electronic producer Joe Goddard grabs his first solo Billboard chart appearance with Electric Lines, new at No. 14 on Dance/Electronic Album Sales. As a member of Hot Chip, Goddard has earned four top 10s, including 2012's No. 1 In Our Heads, on Top Dance/Electronic Albums. Included on Lines is a version of Danny Tenaglia and Celeda's cult classic "Music Is the Answer (Dancin' & Prancin')," which reached No. 15 on Dance Club Songs in 1998.

Ofenbach, "Be Mine"

Self-described "deep house/rock/blues" act Ofenbach (Dorian Lo. and César de Rummel), from France, makes its first appearance on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart with "Be Mine" (No. 35). The track, released on iTunes Nov. 25, has been making its mark this year, climbing to No. 4 in March on France Digital Song Sales and recently concluding a five-week run at No. 1 on Mexico Ingles Airplay. Its Dance/Mix Show Airplay debut is driven by airplay on core-dance outlets WFLZ-HD Tampa, Florida (an iHeartRadio Evolution affiliate), KNHC (C89.5) Seattle, and Music Choice's Dance/EDM channel.

Says KNHC program director JB McDaniel, "In mid-February, we became aware of 'Be Mine' through Shazam [buzz] and tried it on the air. It immediately reacted with our audience, so we added it to our official rotation. It may be a bit left-of-center for some dance stations, but it gives KNHC good texture, and we've always been positioned to play music from several genres, including alternative, rhythmic and worldwide pop."

K?D featuring Phil Good, "Lose Myself"

DJ/producer K?D (aka, Patrick Cybulski) scores his first Billboard chart hit, starting at No. 40 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay with "Lose Myself." Featuring vocals from Phil Good, who also earns his inaugural Billboard chart visit, the track owes the entirety of its radio play in the tracking week from three 24/7 core-dance format leaders: SiriusXM's BPM, WFLZ-HD and Music Choice's Dance/EDM.
