On Friday, the Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat will release the frantic, unpredictable, guest-star-heavy album 9; it’s Stereogum's current reigning Album Of The Week. He’s also just shared the video for his giddy, catchily experimental MØ/SOPHIE collab “9 (After Coachella).” In the clip, director Jake Schreier uses subtitles to explain exactly who Cashmere Cat and MØ are. The clip also features Cashmere Cat’s friend and frequent collaborator Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat’s parents, MØ’s mom, a dog, a cat, and a pair of comically enormous hands that appear in Cashmere Cat’s recurring nightmares. It’s a great video.
