The bonafide artist has always had a fondness for toys, so says his website's about page, and he melds a multitude of interests into incredible works of art which come to life when “played” on a turntable. He uses that old technology of the phenakistoscope, the same tech that mesmerized you as a child when you watched cartoon stills run in a circle through a small hole in the side of a viewer. At a certain speed, the still frames become animated, and in Tetz' case, that speed is 44 RPM.
