Martin Garrix Says Ed Sheeran Collab Probably Won't Ever Be Released: Watch

If you're still holding your breath waiting for that Ed Sheeran and Martin Garrix collaboration to drop, you better inhale or die trying.

The young superstar producer told radio hosts in his home country of the Netherlands that the tune, known as “Rewind Repeat It” may never see the light of day. Fans have heard the song in two forms, one that Garrix premiered at Ultra and another he premiered at Ultra the year before. It's fun and everything. It probably would have been huge, but getting the labels to agree on a release date proved impossible.

“It's all label issues and a lot of headaches,” Garrix says in the radio interview. “It was going to be an official track, so we postponed all my other singles, but the label delayed the track because they wanted to release other tracks from Ed first. At one point, it was two years ago, I didn't release a radio single for five, six months. So, then you get annoyed. So, I don't think we're ever going to release the track.”

He also talks working with Justin Bieber, a budding new romance, and other things superfans will love. Check the full translated interview below.
