Twitter is an interesting place. You can post short thoughts, rake in the retweets and likes and most likely forget about them a few days later.

But like all things posted on the internet, they can also be dug up, especially when you are in the public eye. Based on White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s Twitter account, he was very invested in Daft Punk’s 2014 Grammy performance and thought “tey (sic) need to grow up.”

If the rumor mill is correct and Daft Punk embarks on a tour in 2017, hopefully Spicer makes it out to a show and is more impressed with the performance. Billboard Dance has reached out to the robots' representatives for comment.
