The xx perform on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 19, 2016.

The xx are back, and they’ve been sorely missed.

The British electro-goth trio of Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith broke a five-year drought with their new album release I See You, which dropped last Friday and promptly bolted out the gate.

I See You raced into pole position in the U.K.’s midweek chart and it’s a good chance to earn the xx a second No. 1 when the Official U.K. Albums Chart is published this Friday.

A performance overnight on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon should only help their cause. The Londoners delivered album tracks "Lips" and the “web extra” “Say Something Loving,” which can be see below.

I See You is the followup to Coexist, which topped the U.K. chart in 2012 and reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 survey. Their debut xx won the coveted Mercury Prize in 2010.
