You know that feel when you've had a hard week and all you want to do is hit the bar with your homies? Norway's Julie Bergan knows that feel, and while Billboard Dance strongly recommends partying responsibly, Bergan's latest single pays tribute to those hard-up moments when a good “Blackout” is on the menu.

“The video for 'Blackout' is shot in a lot of different rooms with different moods,” Bergan says in an emailed statement. “There's no doors or places to get out, and it kind of demonstrates how it can feel when you're stuck in your own problems. I just want to get out of it and a blackout is the quickest and easiest way to do that.”

The video shows Bergan dancing and maybe having psychotic episodes in a childlike playroom, a black-and-white ward, a lavish lounge chair, and other fun scenes that appeal to the aesthetic senses. The song's lyrical story of impassioned struggle is juxtaposed by incredibly high-spirited and catchy future bass production. Good on Norway for birthing a cool chick.
