The Knocks are about to turn 2017 into a real party. The New York City electronic duo are gearing up for a 20-plus date tour designed to get America on the “Feel Good Feel Great” tip, and to get things started, The Knocks are dropping a new EP.

Testify is out Feb. 3, on Big Beat/Neon Gold, and the first taste is this bouncy tune “Trouble,” featuring vocals from Absofacto.

"We originally wrote the song with Abso in NYC at our studio as a slow, piano ballad, at 90 bpm,” The Knocks say in a press release. “The idea was to write something that felt melancholy and classic. After we laid down the original idea, he left and we started experimenting with it -- treating it like a sample -- totally chopping it up and flipping it. This is the same way we approach some of our earlier songs like 'Dancing With The DJ' and 'Make it Better,' so it was cool to go back to that formula while making a sound that was new and fresh."

The music shows just how great this song can be for long, escape-fueled drives. “Trouble” is out Jan. 13 on Big Beat/Neon Gold, but you can hear it and check the video below exclusively on Billboard Dance.
