A general view of atmosphere during Electric Zoo at Randall's Island on Aug. 31, 2013 in New York City.

Since 2009, Electric Zoo has been one of New York City's premiere electronic music festivals. It's grown from one day to three, expanded into the bright frontiers of Tokyo, Mexico City, and Shanghai, but no matter how big it's gotten or how far it's traveled, it has never forgotten the city that made it what it is today.

That's why in 2017, Electric Zoo is getting all dolled up in honor of the Big Apple. The theme is 6th Boro, a bit of an ode to the City that Never Sleeps and continues to be the best home Electric Zoo could ever imagine. The fest made this really cute video of people playing around in the big city, throwing snow balls and taking the train set to GTA and What So Not's “Feel It.” Check it out below, get pumped for the Labor Day weekend festival Sept. 1-3, and head over to Electric Zoo online for ticket presale registration.
