"For a flock of crows to leave a wasteland, one has to leave the ground first."

That's the inspiration behind Grabbitz' latest video, “Follow Me.” The new song and visual, premiering exclusively with Billboard, represent the New York-based producer's struggle to evolve and change in a world that tries to keep everyone the same. It follows his recent collaboration with deadmau5, "Let Go."

The song itself is darker and even more in tune with his rock and roll roots than his first big hit, “Here With You Now.” Maybe if Grabbitz is more comfortable letting his melodies and instrumentalism take the lead, other electronic artists will let their souls shine through as well.

The video for “Follow Me” is equally moody, shot in black and white with plenty of crows and symbolism. Some shots depict a smoldering warehouse and injured bodies, which may be sensitive to some viewers.

Watch it here, viewer discretion is advised:

Grabbitz had intended to release the video last week, but postponed its release out of respect to those affected by the Ghost Ship fire in Oakland.
