Louis the Child

Each week, Billboard Dance looks at songs & albums rising on Billboard's dance charts.

Louis the Child featuring Evalyn, "Fire"

Louis the Child (the DJ duo of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett) scores the top debut on Dance/Mix Show Airplay (dated Dec. 17) with "Fire," featuring Evalyn (No. 29), the first action on the chart for both acts. The track debuted at No. 30 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Oct. 22, marking the second hit for Louis this year: in April, "It's Strange," featuring K. Flay, hit No. 38. "Fire" is fueled by airplay on WFLZ-HD Tampa, Florida (an iHeartRadio "'Evolution" affiliate), SiriusXM's BPM and WPTY Long Island, among others.

Various Artists, A Very Decent Christmas 4

Mad Decent compilation A Very Decent Christmas 4 bows at No. 13 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums the second in the series to hit the chart, after A Very Decent Christmas reached No. 10 in 2013. The fourth time around finds Major Lazer, Nonsens, Aquadrop & Big Fish, Akira Akira and more putting their unique electro-reggae spins on Christmas classics.

San Holo, "Light"

Dutch DJ San Holo (real name Sander van Dijck) travels to a Billboard chart for the first time, debuting at No. 38 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with "Light." Released independently on Holo's bitbird label, "Light" has sold 2,000 downloads, according to Nielsen Music, since its Nov. 22 release … despite being available for free on his website.
