Lost Frequencies

Lost Frequencies is a Belgian hero. He's the first native-born artist to clinch four consecutive No. 1s in the country, and such distinction calls for a big celebration.

One of his biggest international hits so far is his cover of the Haddaway classic “What Is Love?” He took the bombastic '90s hit and transformed it into a tranquil, acoustically-driven reverie. It's spell-binging with just enough four-to-the-floor to kick the tempo to twilight pool party speeds. Now, the single, and the artist who crafted it, is celebrated with a four-song remix bundle featuring reworks from Galactic Marvl, Mike Mago, Rose, and Zonderling.

Galactic Marvl gives the tune a bright and bubbly future bass twist. Holland's Mike Mago makes a cooled-down electro-house anthem with well-timed amplifying textures. Rose ups the house element while keeping the general soothing style in tact, and Zonderling turns the tune into a sexy, synthy tune for a smoke-filled, neon singles club of the future.

The “What is Love?” remixes see official release Friday, Dec. 9, on Ultra Music in the US and Armada ROW, but you can hear them all below exclusively on Billboard Dance.
