There isn't much information out there about Eden Prince, but dance fans are about to become more familiar with the mysterious producer thanks to an incoming series of classic tunes remixed and covered in fresh and funky new styles.

Eden Prince kicks off the series with a bang, aiming high with a take on the King of Pop. His version of Michael Jackson's “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)” is good enough to abuse the replay button. A breathy female vocal replaces the iconic crooner, and a jacking house beat lends a solid backbone to track's daydream funk.

It's fitting that Eden Prince teamed with visual artist Domingo Zapata to create the cover art for each track in this cover series. The Spanish-American artist incorporates many textual elements into his colorful style, drawing upon his past experiences as a song writer. In fact, Zapata wrote songs with Michael Jackson before the legend's death.

There's more coming from Eden Prince soon. For now, get acquainted with “P.Y.T.” via Spotify's Hot House playlist below.
