Ray-Ban x Boiler Room Weekender 2016 Announces Full Lineup & Set Times
The time for the inaugural Ray-Ban x Boiler Room Weekender stay-away music festival is nearly upon us. Kicking off Friday, Nov. 4, and running until the wee hours of Sunday, Nov. 6, underground dance fans will fill the naturalistic beauty of Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, Pa.
We knew Soulection, Ghe20goth1k, Mixpak and other collectives were on board, but until today, we didn't know which of their DJs and producers were scheduled to be on site. Now, we've got full lineup and set time details, and as it turns out, the music never stops for 48 hours. The whole thing will be broadcast live on Boiler Room and Ray-Ban channels. Each stage will be distinctly marked by original graphics inspired by the room's surroundings, as envisions by the mind of Margot Bowman.
Performances from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Kamasi Washington, Blood Orange, Jimmy Edgar, and more will be augmented by film screenings and virtual reality installations. RVNG artist Visible Cloaks and visual artist Brenna Murphy have collaborated on a multi-media, immersive, and interactive audio-visual installation.
Ray-Ban launches its VR program with a short film from Robbie Hillyer Barnett produced in collaboration Yours Truly featuring new music from PC Music's Hanna Diamond. Attendees will also be treated to a special-edition zine from Brooklyn's Love Injection.
Suffice it's going to be a rather intense weekend for anyone with a ticket, and if you choose to tune in, it should be pretty boss for you. Check the full lineup and schedule below.
