Gary Glitter is cool and all, but deadmau5 just dropped the sickest electronic sports anthem of the decade.

"How do you make something simple, original and different?” deadmau5 tells NHL.com. "I knew I had to do something that was palatable and worked for the crowd and also lend itself to some audience participation. These thoughts all formed in my head before I even sat down."

The result is something decidedly deadmau5 with plenty of foot-stomping, hand-clapping, helmet-banging appeal. It's got a driving beat and the roar of a crowd alongside signature deadmau5 synths. The masked man was invited to tour the ice as the anthem made its debut. Check out the track below, and go Leafs!
