Amnesia Ibiza Loses Late-Night License, €300,000 Confiscated From Club Owner: Report
It’s been a troubling week for Amnesia Ibiza.
Days after Diario de Ibiza reported that the club’s closing party will have to end earlier than originally planned due to a decision made by local police, the Ibiza newspaper reports that Amnesia Ibiza was raided and €300,000 in cash has been confiscated.
Back in July, the club was raided by Spanish police who arrested four of the club’s staff, including owner Martin Ferrer, and seized €2 million from its premises during the 17 hour ordeal.
The existence of the security boxes with the €300,000 most recently confiscated had been known to the police since July, but it was only yesterday that a court order allowed the money to be seized and officially recorded.
