The Gorillaz Album May Be Done in Two Weeks: Report

An image posted to imgur of Damon Albarn with some peeps claims the latest Gorillaz album, his monolithically cool project with cartoonist Jamie Hewlett, will be done in about two weeks. A big Reddit discussion is on about it, but those are the only details. Reps for the Gorillaz were unable for confirm or deny the claim.

Add it to the mountain of hype. The group's cartoon guitarist Noodle was just announced as the Global Ambassador for Panasonic Jaguar Racing. The band shared a bunch of new material to Instagram, including a subplot Noodle storyline. We know De La Soul, Snoop Dogg, and other appear on the LP, whenever it is finished. It should hit shelves in early 2017. Stay tuned.
