Grimes had an epic time on her summer AC!D Reign Tour, and the evidence appeared unexpectedly on Wednesday (Oct. 5) when she did a data dump of seven new videos as part of a 38-minute short film entitled The AC!D Reign Chronicles: The War of Art (A Trashique Adventure). The lo-fi clips filmed with her pal and collaborator singer HANA and Grimes' brother, Mac, cover the Art Angels tracks "World Princess Part II," "Butterfly," "Scream" and "Belly of the Beat," as well as images for three HANA songs: "Chimera," "Underwater" and "Avalanche."

"These 7 videos were shot over a 2 week period throughout Europe during The AC!D Reign Tour," she wrote in a tweet announcing the project. "They are guerrilla style vids, a la realiti, so there was no crew, makeup, cameras, lights. Just us and a phone, so maybe don't expect anything too fancy. That said, we're really proud of what we made."

The singer wasn't kidding when she said the effort was no-frills, rocking the stage with Taiwanese rapper Aristophanes in "Scream," dancing while wearing a mask in lush gardens (and at the feet of a statue of Goethe) in "Butterfly," rocking a giant red wig, twirling umbrellas on London's Millennium bridge and partying with her crew on a private jet in "World Princess II" and making the hills come alive with some ballet in lush fields and an empty mansion in "Belly of the Beat."

The HANA portion of the film (which can be watched in one chunk, or as individual clips), finds the singer doing some abstract dance moves in front of BMX bikers on city streets for "Chimera," crooning from a treetop and taking a powder in an empty fountain in "Underwater" and looking lonesome twirling in a haunted mansion in "Avalanche."
