At a 1995 rave at France's Carros Festival a very fortunate crowd did not have to stay up all night to get lucky – they simply had to show up to the party. The entire evening was powered by the extremely rare sight of an unmasked Daft Punk dropping early cuts to the warehouse crowd.

Daft Punk Tour Rumored Following Reddit Discovery

The five-minute video, which recently resurfaced on Reddit, may be the oldest footage out there of the iconic duo playing live, taken the same year they recorded “Da Funk.”

The Daft Punk rumor mill has been turning at full speed this fall, from talks of a possible tour and festival appearances, all of which appear to have (sadly) been debunked. Although there may not be any live performances planned, the legendary producers recently collaborated with The Weeknd on his smash hit “Starboy.”
