Electronic noise heads everywhere are about to lose their cool. Aphex Twin is confirmed to play Houston's Day for Night festival at some point during the two-day event from Dec. 17 and 18.

Festival organizers say this will be the elusive artist's first time performing in the United States since his Coachella set in 2008. Day for Night is a two day art and music festival that touts itself as “featuring world class musicians as well as leaders in various disciplines of digital art.” We have to admit, snagging Aphex Twin definitely makes you look like a leader.

“We can indeed confirm Aphex Twin is performing at Day for Night,” festival producer Omar Afra tells Billboard Dance. “This is the second moon landing for Houston.”

Aphex Twin also shared the cryptic Day for Night teaser via Twitter.

The influential electronic artist recently released his critically-acclaimed Cheetah EP in July. The Houston festival plans to release more details tomorrow, as if this wasn't enough to entice you already.

Billboard Dance has also reached out to Aphex Twin's reps for comment.
