Conan O'Brien pays tribute to Gary Shandling on Conan on March 24, 2016.

One of the best parts of late-night talk shows are spots that see hosts take the show on the road. Man on the street interviews are always a hit, as are any segments that poke fun at unsuspecting victims in the great wide open world.

Berlin's Berghain Club Struck By Lightning, Naked Party Ensues: Report

Therefore, every dance fan should be on pins and needles waiting to see what Conan O'Brien has in store for the segment he just filmed outside of Berghain. The notoriously difficult-to-enter club is more than a Berlin staple; it's a cultural phenomenon. No doubt it's perfect fodder for a funnyman of Conan's caliber.

His presence was documented by Chicago DJ and Berghain frequenter The Black Madonna on Instagram. It's daylight when the picture was taken, but we hope he stuck around to interview the sad saps waiting hours in line just to be turned down at the door. We don't assume he got to film inside, as the club has a strict no-photo policy.

The Instagram post is filled with varying opinions about whether O'Brien should be allowed anywhere near the techno temple. In a since-deleted Instagram post, The Black Madonna wrote the following: “I don’t need to know what he’s joking about to know that he’s taking millions of people into a space that is private for a good reason. I’m not humorless about any subject. But turning a space like this into a comedy spectacle for a largely straight American audience with no context other than the club being private and gay is a problem.”

Billboard Dance has reached out to representatives for O'Brien and The Black Madonna for further comment. Look out for the clip as part of his upcoming Berlin episode.
