Seth Troxler is set to take the reins on the third-ever live Essential Mix on Pete Tong's industry-preferred BBC Radio 1 program.

Only a handful of artists have graced the show with such performances. The first such honor went to Richie Hawtin in Los Angeles last January. The second was a special collab set from Miami in March that included Eric Prydz, Claude VonStroke, MK, and Eats Everything.

Troxler joins this elite group when he takes the booth at Output in New York City Friday, Sept. 23. He's going to break records and booties during his headline set, bolstered by support from Tong himself, Dennis Ferrer, and Eli Escobar. The performance will mark Essential Mix's first visit to NYC and reflects Brooklyn's growing relevance as a taste-maker in underground house music.

The set will be broadcast the following Friday. Tickets are on sale now for $30 via
