5 Top Avicii Songs You Didn't Know He Produced

The dance world is saddened by the news of Avicii's tour retirement. The Swedish superstar played his last set Sunday night, Aug. 28, at Ushuaia in Ibiza. No doubt it was magical and drew one or two tears, though Avicii promises his voice will ring on through forthcoming music. Avicii's songs aren't going anywhere.

Avicii Officially Retires From Touring

We could sit around and be sad he'll never drop “Le7els” again, or we can come together and appreciate the loads of music we already have. He's not done producing, after all, and maybe the time off the road will give him more space to work with fellow pop stars in the studio. Did you know he does a lot of that? Just check out these songs by Avicii you might not have known he'd written.

Coldplay – “A Sky Full Of Stars”

Those uplifting piano chords, that sweeping upward motion. They can only be the work of one man, and so they are. Pretty cool of Avicii to work with one of the biggest rock bands on the planet, no?

David Guetta“Lovers on the Sun”

Would you believe David Guetta had help from Avicii when getting this Wild West banger in the saddle? He did! Along with some other folks. Which part do you think sounds most like Avicii?

Madonna – “Devil Pray”

Avicii pulls the acoustic guitar out and puts a little country twang on the rhythm for this one. Madonna lets loose like she's still 22 on the chorus.

Conrad Sewell – “Taste The Feeling”

You may have heard this pop gem in a Coca-Cola campaign. Actually, that's definitely where you heard it. Share a Coke with Avicii? Who wouldn't?

Coldplay – “Hymn for the Weekend”

Oh hey, it's not just Beyonce who made a lil cameo on this one. Avicii is the dude behind the delicious noise. This percussion though. Bellisima.
