Major Lazer Taps Justin Bieber and MØ For New Single 'Cold Water,' Diplo Says

Leaks have surfaced of both Major Lazer's “Cold Water” and DJ Snake's “Let Me Love You.” Major Lazer seems to have turned down the EDM on this ode to having someone's back. Acoustic guitar takes prominence throughout the verses, though that signature Lazer island rhythms remain. There's also additional singing from “Lean On” vocalist MØ, a track DJ Snake and Major Lazer worked on together.

Justin Bieber, Young Thug, Travi$ Scott & More Confirmed for DJ Snake Album

DJ Snake keeps his Bieber collab firmly rooted in the electronic. “Let Me Love You” features a high-pitched Bieber crooning standard romantic promises and a funky little hook that features the same wonky sound from “Lean On.”

No word on the finality of these versions, or when they may see official release.
