After months of treatment following a nasty fall off stage at A State of Trance in February, Paul van Dyk is nearly 100 percent ready to return to the stage, just in time for this summer's music festival season.

Paul has used his Facebook page to update fans about his progress since the start of his hospitalization. This week he posted a lengthy thank you addressing everyone who has helped him these last few months, from his team of doctors to his fans. "Although there is a long way ahead for me to completely recover," he wrote, "I am positive, optimistic and doing absolutely everything I can to get back to my passion and share with you my love for music, to share more unforgettable moments and to live this second chance to the maximum -- to live it grateful and happier than ever."

He closed the post on a hopeful note, reiterating an earlier prediction about when he would be able to DJ again: "In mid-June, I’m returning to do what I love doing the most and am looking forward to seeing you all again!"
