Denver resident Nick Miller, known to millions of listeners as Illenium, takes the spotlight in Billboard Dance’s weekly discovery series, Radar.

Like many artists, he started out as just another fan in the crowd. Miller attended a Bassnectar show in 2012 at Red Rocks Amphitheater and was inspired to purchase music production software Ableton Live the following day.

Since then, he has remixed the likes of The Chainsmokers, Kaskade, and Galantis, and recently dropped his debut album, Ashes, as an exclusive premiere on Billboard Dance.

"It’s a story of rebirth," he says of his first full-length. "About losing something and being down, and being able to find hope and light in tough places."
