deadmau5 Claims He Was Just Being Sarcastic, But Kanye West Accuses Him of Hypocrisy

When approached by paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday (March 5), Kanye West addressed the Twitter frenzy that ensued last week after he uploaded a picture suggesting he pirated software.

"It’s obviously not my computer," says West. "I took a picture of it in the studio and everyone was like, "Don't put that up!" Blah, blah, blah. I was like, let it go up."

West continues, "I think there are people in the music industry, realistically, as you saw with the deadmau5 thing, where he actually said he used it before," referencing the following 2013 tweet.

However, deadmau5 is known for his frequent use of sarcasm, and the producer indicated his old tweet shouldn't be taken at face value when fans asked last week.
