Jarred Rogers, the studio wiz behind a handful of pop’s biggest hitmakers – including Demi Lovato, Lana Del Rey and Charli XCX -- has emerged from his shell.

The Melbourne-based artist, now known as MSTR ROGERS, has released his debut single, "I’ll Take You," on Big Beat Records and seen it climb to No. 1 on Spotify's Global Viral Charts.

"The more I listened to the song, I knew it had to be a story of release and the narrative sort of grew from there," says director Emile Freeman.

The frame opens to a humdrum world that soon gets infiltrated with lasers, Ken dolls and a series of colorful explosions.

"The idea was to make this super lo-fi video and shoot it on VHS," Rogers adds. "It's kind of hilarious, but also really gets the song and what I'm trying to do across."
