The Number Festival Announces 2016 Lineup: Fetty Wap, The Chainsmokers, Big Gigantic & More (Exclusive)
Billboard is exclusively announcing the 2016 lineup for The Number Festival in Athens, Ohio, as well as its expansion to a two-day camping event on April 15-16.
Billed as "The Nation's Largest College Music Festival," the festival will feature Fetty Wap, The Chainsmokers, Big Gigantic, Lil Dicky, Post Malone, Slander, NGHTMRE, Pierce Fulton, Cal Scruby, Wes Walker & Dyl, Futuristic.
Produced by Prime Social Group, the 18+ festival will expand to two days and feature on-site camping for the first time since its launch in 2004. Festival founder Dominic Petrozzi hails the event's 14th edition as "the start of a new era."
“Number Fest is taking major steps forward this year to solidify it as one of the premier music festivals in the country, let alone Ohio,” says Zach Ruben, Prime Social Group co-founder. “We’ve added a second day of music, camping options and increased on-site parking.”
"This April will mark a full year since we acquired the land that we are producing #Fest on," adds Adam Lynn, Prime Social Group co-founder. "Since purchasing the land we have been able to significantly improve the infrastructure making way for additional festivals."
Last year, Prime Social Group launched country music festival Country Night Lights in the same location as Number Fest. The 2015 edition was headlined by Sam Hunt and Easton Corbin, and Lynn says its 2016 lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
While Saturday early bird GA tickets are sold out, 2-day GA and VIP tickets for Number Festival are now available at thenumberfest.com.
