 Many dance artists are paying tribute to the Thin White Duke. Words easily fail with the passing of an iconic artist like David Bowie, and so sound seems to be the best language for a Bowie sendoff.

Canadian DJ Skratch Bastid certainly feels that way. Following Bowie’s passing, Bastid posted a video of himself giving the 1983 chart topper “Let’s Dance” the full turntable treatment.

“The guy never stopped creating -- he stayed recording and collaborating with artists like Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem over the last decade, and even put out an album two days ago, before his untimely passing,” Bastid wrote on his blog. “If that's not motivation as an artist, I don't know what is.”
