Robert Hood To Launch 'Paradygm Shift' Project in February

DJ Robert Hood is revisiting his sonic roots. The Detroit artist recently announced a new project called Paradygm Shift and will release the first of three EPs on Feb. 22 as well as an album. The first two-track EP will be titled Paradygm Shift Volume 1.

“I felt it necessary to reiterate Robert Hood as an electronic music artist who is bringing minimalism back to the forefront,” Hood said in a Dekmantel interview vid. “I want to get back to the simple repetitive programming that I’m known for.”

Repetitive hardly means boring in Hood’s wheelhouse. The project will be Hood’s first body of original material released on Dekmantel. The Amsterdam label tweeted about the partnership today.
