Don Diablo Says Anyone Can DJ, Even His Grandma

Coming down from ringing in 2016 at Siloso Beach in Singapore, Dutch DJ Don Diablo sat down with Popspoken to talk about everything from his music being categorized as Future House to the ethics of ghost production (he’s on the fence on both fronts). One of the most notable sound bites was Diablo claiming his own grandma could DJ.

“The foundation of success has to come from making music, just having the will to be in the studio the whole time and create,” Diablo told Popspoken . “I think that DJing is something that comes secondary. Anybody can DJ. My grandma can DJ, God bless her soul.”

A grandma that can  DJ? We’re all for it.
