Skrillex Drops Heartwarming New 'Stranger' Remix & Music Video for Charity
Happy holidays from Skrillex.
As part of his OWSLA label's annual Nestivus holiday charity campaign, the Los Angeles artist tapped Tennyson and White Sea to help him reinvent his Sam Dew-fronted Recess cut "Stranger" as a thoughtful piano ballad.
A poignant new music video accompanies the remix release, which was directed by Andrew Donoho and features OWSLA friends, family and local schoolchildren from Griffen, Ga.
Skrillex's new "Stranger" remix is being made available as a free download with an optional donation towards the Boys & Girls Club, international music nonprofit Bridges for Music and Jhamtse Gatsa Children's Community.
