Damian Lazarus' Day Zero party has become a staple of the annual festivities held around The BPM Festival in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, and next year's event looks primed to be his biggest yet.

Billboard can exclusively announce that the Mayan-themed musical gathering will be held in a new jungle venue in Tulum on Jan. 8 next year, featuring a compelling lineup of underground house and techno stalwarts like Acid Pauli, Bedouin, Blondish, and Fur Coat joining Lazarus himself.

BPM Festival Highlights: Innervisions, Cadenza Meets Planet E, Vatos Locos & More

"There is a magical and irresistible energy about Tulum that has really affected how I live my life," says Lazarus. "When you combine amazing music and wonderful people in a place like Tulum, it becomes much more than just another party. Day Zero is a chance to connect with loved ones, re-engage spiritually with the stars and planets, engage in some ancient and primal rituals, and generally experience something you simply can't find anywhere else."

To celebrate his Crosstown Rebels label's 13th anniversary, Lazarus is also announcing a special partnership with Red Moon, an event brand led by Cirque Du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte.

"Damian and I have been becoming close friends over the years and we share a kindred spirit for fun, good times and extraordinary experiences," says Laliberte. "I have always been impressed with his Crosstown events. They have a special way of bringing tribes together from all over the world and creating magic moments."
