Disclosure's 'Omen' Undergoes Remix Treatment From Dillon Francis

UK duo Disclosure has been sent an "Omen" by Dillon Francis.

The Los Angeles-based producer has reincarnated the infectious original into an even groovier jam, thanks in part to his imaginative vocal dicing of Sam Smith’s silky chops. Smith’s voice, accompanied by swelling chords and bright percussion, spirals into a jaunty riff once the chorus unravels to the beat of Francis’ signature style.

"Omen" had a strong performance amongst its other chart contenders on Disclosure’s sophomore album Caracal, topping at No. 1 on Dance Club Songs and No. 64 on the Hot 100 this summer. The LP itself debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, nearly 30 spots higher than where Settle peaked in 2014.

Francis comments on Soundcloud that this remix has been his favorite song to produce since his collaboration, "Coming Over," with Kygo. He also hints that fans should expect to hear productions of the “same vibe” as this in the near future.

The official remix will be available to purchase next week on iTunes.
