Steve Aoki has taken creative collaborations to the next level with this one. The producer and DJ has apparently partnered with everyone's favorite science guy Bill Nye to work on his new album.

Speaking at the Fast Company Innovation Festival on Tuesday (Nov. 10), as Dancing Astronaut reports, Aoki and Nye discussed the influence of science and technology on their careers, drying connections between EDM culture and science. They also revealed that they have begun writing a science-themed song for Aoki's new album called "Noble Gas."

To give a small sense of the sound, they said the track is set to the Twilight Zone theme.  But Nye dug in more conceptually as well.

"The song would start with exploding super novae, then lead to us," he said. "And that means that the fact that you and I are made of stardust is one of the ways that the universe knows itself."
