Rising Los Angeles producer SNBRN -- born Kevin Chapman -- has been steadily building his profile through a series of standout remix releases and festival looks at the likes of Lollapalooza, Electric Forest and Firefly.

On new original release "Beat the Sunrise," Chapman fuses his upbeat bass notes and dreamy softsynths with the reedy verses of vocalist/guitarist Andrew Watt -- a former member of super-trio California Breed who has jammed with Justin Bieber and recently released his Ghost in My Head EP via John Varvatos Records/Republic Records. Chapman admits he's been "waiting all summer" to release the track.

"Working with Andrew and incorporating live instrumentation made this song very special to me," says Chapman. "This song means a lot to both of us."

"When I wrote this song it was very much a simple acoustic Tom Pettyish tune with a little twang," echoes Watt. "SNBRN was able to take it and transform it into something truly original and forward sounding...I love where it ended up."
