Desert Hearts Announces Lineup for Three-Year Anniversary Festival: Exclusive
The Southern California house and techno festival expands to 100 continuous hours.
Billboard is exclusively announcing the lineup for Desert Hearts’ three-year anniversary festival, which takes place at Los Coyotes Indian Reservation in Southern California from Nov. 5-9.
The fall event will feature Claude VonStroke, Marc Houle, Olivier Giacomotto, Doc Martin, J.Phlip and more. The artists will be joined by Desert Hearts’ own Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Pork Chop, Marbs, and Deep Jesus.
In the span of three years, Desert Hearts has transformed from a communal gathering among friends to a premier, alternative festival experience -- all without shedding its integrity. In celebration of its three-year anniversary, the event will be expanding to a continuous 100 hours.
“We wanted to do something incredibly special as a way to say thank you to our beloved community,” Desert Hearts founder Mikey Lion says. “We've always strived to take the love and positivity that we all feel at the festival and turn it into a permanent way of life back in the real world. By adding an extra 28 hours of programming, our mission is to spread as much love as possible in hopes that it will change the world we live in.”
With a simple message, “House, Techno, & Love," Desert Hearts has fostered one of the more dedicated fan bases in the scene. 2015 has already proven a benchmark year for the San Diego crew, having launched their eponymous record label as well as embarked on a nationwide City Hearts tour.
