Le Galaxie, an electro-pop band from Ireland, is gearing up for the U.S. debut of their second album, Le Club, with the release of their latest single “Love System,” featuring vocals by guest singer Elaine Mai.

The video for the song, premiering below on Billboard, was directed by Brendan Canty, an MTV Video Music Award nominee who has also worked with Hozier.

The “Love System” video features a young couple wrapped up in their love for each other -- maybe to their own detriment. The woman in the relationship seems especially unfazed by the world around them, while her beau is always on alert and ready to fight any other man that sets an eye on his woman.

Canty told Billboard what he loved most about the video and the “psychotic” couple.

"I wanted to create a sort of journey love story between an unhinged and strange psychotic couple,” he said. “I loved the idea of taking something so classic and American but putting it into a totally Irish setting with maxol garages, Honda 50's, Arcarde's, jelly snakes and monster munch.”

Le Galaxie’s second album, Le Club, will be released in November. The band will be playing the following CMJ shows in New York next month:

Wednesday, October 14 - Music from Ireland showcase - The Delancey
Friday, October 16 - Planetary Showcase - Pianos
