Steve Angello’s hugely anticipated debut solo album, his first since Swedish House Mafia broke hearts and went their separate ways in 2013, will get a pre-Christmas release.

Angello’s Wild Youth will drop Nov. 20, Billboard can confirm. The European electronic dance music star’s fans got an early taste of the new studio set when the single “Children of the Wild” feat Mako dropped in June. Its official video is finally here.

Directed by French filmmaker Guillaume Panariello, the action-packed clip is comprised of several 0.8 second scenes captured at 1000fps on a camera car. We’re told there’s no post-production work on screen.

The Size Records chief has been regularly quizzed on Wild Youth since the start of the year. “It’s not EDM,” Angello told Billboard in a chat during Miami Music Week.“It’s dance music and it has vocals, but they aren't pop vocals and it's not formulaic. I’ve worked with Dougy from The Temper Trap and a few other guys, and the fact is, I'm not hyper-focused on nailing that radio record. I’m trying to make a piece of art that I’ll be able to look back on in 10 years and say, 'I’m f---ing proud of that.'"

He added, "That's the difference between doing it yourself and doing it with a major label. I don’t want to look back and say, 'Oh, remember when we did that? I can’t believe the kids bought into it.' I grew up on Pink Floyd and Michael Jackson, artists who never got too comfortable. For me, these last two years took me out of the comfort zone.”
