Dirtybird's rising star is set to release his new Mom, I Graduated EP on the San Francisco imprint next month, as well as embark on his jet-setting world tour of the same name. 30 dates spanning the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Brazil have already been announced, with more on the way.

Listen to the full premiere of the EP's A-side, "Hit It," exclusively on Billboard:

Jay says the EP arose from an experimental final semester in which he balanced a new live band project with pursuing club-focused solo productions.

"Writing lyrics for choruses and verses, recording vocals and guitar, and producing beats around it all was a crazy, challenging experience for me," he says. "In between the grind of working on these new collaborations, I wanted to just goof around and make some silly, fun club music. My homies inspired me to hop on the mic and try my best at some songwriting... this is what happened."

Justin Jay's Mom, I Graduated EP will be available through Dirtybird on Sept. 14.
