deadmau5's protégé is ready for his second close-up.

Enigmatic producer ATTLAS -- revealed by Pete Tong to be Canadian producer Jeff Hartford -- will drop his sophomore Scene EP on Friday (Aug. 7) via his mentor's mau5trap label.

However, fans can now listen to Scene's contemplative opener "Batch" -- featuring vocals by The Intergalatix’s Kristian Attard -- exclusively on Billboard:

"'Batch' holds our hand as we re-enter the story begun by Siren," says Hartford. "It is warm but distant, full of introspection. Falling in love but lying to yourself about it, pretending you don't care until you've realized you've really screwed something up...that's what it’s reminding you of."

ATTLAS' Scene EP will be available through mau5trap on Aug. 7, and can be pre-ordered here.
