Tomorrowland 2015 Day 3 Highlights: GTA, Yellow Claw, Thomas Jack & More
While gloomy weather continued, Tomorrowland attendees showed no signs of backing down as the festival came to a bittersweet end with sets from the likes of NERVO, Benny Benassi, Tiësto and more. Billboard takes you back to Boom, Belgium for the last day of madness.
4:15 p.m.: Klingande turns the Bakermat & Friends stage into a tropical house cathedral with his chill house beats and sexy saxophone breakdowns. A group of fans sway as he drops his famous track “Jubel.”
5:05 p.m.: The Bakermat & Friends stage continues to flourish with summer vibes as Thomas Jack plays his remix of Benjamin Francis Leftwich’s “Atlas Hands." Jack moves left and right while mouthing words to the song. Lights dart about the scene while the crowd enjoys the tropical house connoisseur’s “Final Speech”.
6:06 p.m.: At the Smash The House stage, a clique of Canadian boys can be heard getting hyped for Carnage's set. “He has to drop his remix of 'Spaceman,'” a boy sporting his country's red and white flag on his back insists. “Do you think he’ll drop new songs off of his new album?” another boy asks.
7:08 p.m.: CO2 cannons burst overhead as the NERVO sisters yell, “We love you Tomorrowland!” The unity of different cultures gathering solely for the sake of dance music creates an incomparable vibe in the festival crowd.
8:32 p.m.: Amsterdam trap lords Yellow Claw drop “Dancefloor Champion” as the Barong Family stage combusts with lasers. It’s a bass-head's paradise.
9:45 p.m.: As fireworks erupt in the background, GTA pump their elbows up and down to heavy 808 beats. The Barong Family stage is home to more stateside dance influences today as numerous American DJs are represented. “I flew here all the way from Ohio for this,” a youth with a red, white and blue flower crown on his head exclaims.
11:14 p.m.: “My love and my touch!” a girl screams along as Route 94 plays his popular track, "My Love," at the Forma T. Stage.
11:43 p.m.: 3 Are Legend -- a.k.a. Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike -- finish the weekend strong with a massive firework show during their hard-hitting set.
“I’ve gone to Tomorrowland for the past five years, and I already can’t wait for the next one. They never disappoint,” a chipper girl explains while walking to the exit. While the crowd shows a natural sadness because the weekend has to come to an end, spirits remain high thanks to the majestic festival experience they have shared together.
