Producing stars like Kygo, Cashmere CatFehrplay and Trippy Turtle, frigid Norway has recently thawed into a hotbed for fresh talent.

Fellow countryman Jerry Folk may not boast nearly as big name yet, but he has been turning heads and topping the Hype Machine with a funky brand of melodic house. Having just signed with Brooklyn booking powerhouse AM Only last month, America should be hearing more from the Oslo native soon.

Guest Playlist: Kygo's Feeling Avicii, Chromeo and More

Check out the ten-track Guest Playlist that Folk compiled for Billboard Dance below:

Tennyson - With You
"I found this the other day, and it blew me away. Being able to create something so musically advanced and well produced is beyond impressive. It has so many different atmospheres and parts in this track - instant repeat."

Nombe - California Girls
This track caught my attention as soon as I heard it. The guitar in the beginning takes me back to R&B in the late 90s. Something about this track simply makes me feel good and is definitely worth a proper listen!

HNNY - Solsidan
HNNY has been one of my favorites for a long while. He always seems to be able to find short samples that are worth repeating for minutes on end. The sample in this is so catchy and is the definition of a proper summer track

Crustation - Purple (J-Dilla Remix)
When I first found this jam, I was really excited about the beat and the laid-back vibe. I had no idea that those vocals would be introduced a couple of minutes later in the track. That did it for me. It's probably one of the tracks I've listened to the most this winter.

Nu Vintage - Be Fruitful
I listen to this a lot when I'm on the bus. It works as a good theme song for everything I pass on the bus ride. I like how it's neutral. It's not melancholic nor happy - just vibey.

Lil Angel Boi - Close Your Eyes
I was stalking Lido's SoundCloud a while back and found this guy, Lil Angel Boi. I thought it was worth a listen. I found this track, and it's one of my guilty pleasure songs. It's such a happy and cheesy track, but to cheer not to dig. I later found out that it's a pitched up version of a Lily Allen track, haha.

A$AP Rocky - Everyday
This is pretty far from the music I put out, but I thought it was worth adding to this list. Most people have probably heard it already, but it's one of the tracks I listen to the most these days.

Action Bronson - Big League Chew
I heard a snippet of this great track in an episode of "Fuck, That's Delicious" on Vice's Noisey subchannel. I found it on SoundCloud afterwards, and it's just too good not to love. The "Fuck, That's Delicious" series really got me into Action Bronson's character and music. This particular track always puts me in a good mood.

Psychic Mirrors - The Witching Hour
This one is simply a great disco track. If you're into repetitive clubby, nu-disco tracks, this is definitely a must listen.

Galimatias & Alina Baraz - Maybe
What can I say? Galimatias is simply a genius, and the fact that Alina Baraz and Galimatias are teaming up on so many tracks is making this world a better place. Just listen. Not sure what else to say.
