Quick -- who are the two most-played artists in Spotify history?

That's a really hard question, but if you answered Ed Sheeran and Eminem… you've definitely been paying attention to (so thank you). Sheeran and Em were the first two artists to break two billion Spotify streams, and today (June 22), a third artist joined their ranks. It's David Guetta.

Guetta's 2014 album Listen undoubtedly helped the DJ get over the top. His track with Showtek, "Bad" (featuring Vassy), is responsible for over 200 million of those plays, joining "Titanium" (featuring Sia) as Guetta's two tracks in the 200 million club.

Guetta is also verified as the most-followed artist on Spotify with 6.8 million followers.

Spotify director of label relations Will Hope gave his two cents:

"David Guetta is obviously one of the most popular artists on Spotify globally, so him smashing the 2 billion plays milestone should come as no surprise. But it is worth also noting that he achieved this landmark thanks to his huge fan base of over 15 million fans on Spotify who listen to his music every month, and who together helped him hit this landmark in record time."

To celebrate the milestone, Guetta released a new remix of "Hey Mama," done by Boaz van de Beatz. Check it out here
