Kygo Covers Tove Lo's 'Habits (Stay High)': Video and Exclusive Q&A
Kygo must be a quick learner.
One week after Tove Lo hit BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge to cover Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's Furious 7 hit "See You Again," on Tuesday (May 5), the Norwegian artist performed an acoustic cover of the Swedish singer's hit "Habits (Stay High)."
Parson James, who is featured on Kygo's second single "Stole the Show," handles vocals while Kygo helps transform the radio hit into a contemplative piano ballad.

Fresh off the performance, the tropical house producer chatted with Billboard about the cover and his current European tilt.
How did you decide to cover “Habits (Stay High)” by Tove Lo?
Me and Parson James messed around with a couple different tracks, and that one just felt so natural. We were both also huge fans of the original too.
What were the rehearsals with Parson James like?
It was fun, he's a super talented guy and I'm glad we were able to do something outside of just our single, "Stole the Show."
How’s the radio promo in Europe going?
Great! It's cool to see such a chain reaction from going country to country and seeing the impact it creates. I have been doing a lot of acoustic sets, which I really enjoy doing.
What else do you have on the horizon?
One really cool thing I have coming up is the "Kygo Hotel." I will be curating and taking over a hotel from June 12 to 14 in my hometown of Bergen, Norway. This will involve a full weekend filled with a bunch of great activities. Everything from a video game to my favorite producer playing -- and I'll be announcing an exciting new collaboration as well. Really excited for this!
