BTS' Jungkook Admits Fault In Seoul Car Accident

BTS singer Jungkook has admitted fault in a minor car accident while driving in Seoul last week, the pop idol’s reps have confirmed.

The 22-year-old singer was questioned by police after he reportedly hit a taxi in the Hannam district of Seoul on Saturday (Nov. 2).

Fortunately, no-one was hurt. "Both the victim and Jungkook did not sustain any major injuries," reads a statement from Big Hit Entertainment, according to the BBC.

The artist admitted that he violated the country’s traffic act. "The scene of the accident was resolved and police questioning was completed according to the due process, and an amicable settlement was made with the victim afterwards,” the statement continues.

"We once again apologize to the victim, and we also express apologies for causing concern to fans."

It’s unclear how much money changed hands in the settlement.

It hasn’t all been a bad week for Jungkook and his band mates. The K-pop superstars were multiple winners Sunday night (Nov. 3) at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Seville, Spain where they bagged best live and biggest fans awards.
