BTS will remain under their label Big Hit Entertainment through 2026, it was announced Wednesday (Oct. 17).
The seven members of BTS -- RM, Jimin, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook and V -- have renewed their contracts with Big Hit for another seven years, extending the current contracts that are set to expire next year. It will bring the group’s time with the label through 2026, 13 years since their first album, 2 Cool 4 Skool, was released in 2013.
In a statement emailed Wednesday, BTS said, “We respect our mentor, producer [and Big Hit founder] Bang Si-Hyuk who has continued to show us a vision for our future from even before debut and have helped us form our perspective of the world and music. With Big Hit Entertainment’s support, we’ll continue to strive to give our best for fans all around the world.”
